Harry Eugene O'Neil was born September 8, 1929 in Commerce, Texas to Harry Franklin and Allene Wheeler O'Neil. 

He graduated from East Texas State Teacher's College in 1950 and taught school at Pine Springs in the Tyler School District until entering the Army in 1951.  He served in the 25th Medical Battalion in Korea.  He was a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason and a Shriner.

He worked for Phillips Petroleum Company for thirty-plus years, mainly in the Chemical Division.  Upon retirement in 1985, he and his wife moved to Emerald Bay where they have resided until recently requiring nursing home care.  Special thanks are extended to staff members at The Heights Nursing Home for their empathy and kindness.

Harry is survived by his wife, Anne, and his sister-in-law, Theresa H. Cooper of Fripp Island, South Carolina.
