Judy Laverne Strebeck, 66, of Commerce, passed away at her home on Friday, January 15, 2016.  She was born on January 21, 1949, the daughter of James Pitt Harrison and Mary Leona Kratz Harrison. 

Judy was born in Houston, Texas where she attended high school.  She enjoyed crafts, such as making Christmas trees.  She spent a great deal of time reading her Bible.  But most of all, she really enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.  Most recently, she worked for Phillips 66 in Terrell. She enjoyed this work very much. 

Judy is survived by her husband, James; her children, Tonya Melton (Brad), Anitra Lamberson (Johnny), Tammy Martinez (Bill Langley) and James Strebeck, Jr.; grandchildren, Heather Melton, David Melton, Cody Lamberson, Mark Lamberson, Marissa Martinez, Hailey Martinez, Layne Melton, Alayna Melton, Melanie Melton, Bobbi Rae Melton and Kelsi Strebeck; great grandchildren, Bradley Melton, Charlie Melton and Jaxson Crossland; siblings, Johnny Harrison and Dorothy Richardson, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and countless friends.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, James and Mary Harrison; siblings, Minnie Fleischer, James Harrison, Wilburn Harrison, Sarah Tatum and Mary Harrison; and a grandson, Charles Melton.
