Scott Lee Barnes, 38, of Commerce, Texas passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2017 in Commerce.  He was born on October 27, 1978 in Dallas, Texas, the son of Walter and Janeatha Barnes.  Scott grew up in Dallas where he attended W. H. Adamson High School, graduating in 1997.  He enjoyed spending time with his family whenever he got a chance.  He especially enjoyed his daughter, Samantha.  Scott is survived by his wife, Carissa; his daughter, Samantha Barnes; stepson, Anthony Wilson; parents, Walter and Janeatha Barnes; sister, Tracie Reyes and husband, David; nephews, Brandon Reyes and Nicholas Reyes and niece, Sarah Reyes.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Commerce Funeral Home Chapel  to celebrate Scott's life.
