Herbert Thomas, Jr.

Herbert Dale Thomas, Jr., 60, of Klondike, died peacefully on Friday, March 9, 2018 in Plano, Texas.  He was born on March 22, 1957 in Dallas, Texas, the son of Herbert Dale Thomas, Sr. and Edna Maxine Copeland Thomas. 

Herbie, as he was called by his family, attended North Mesquite High School, graduating in 1975.  Following high school, he attended Eastfield College for a year.  Herbie loved his family very much.  They would spend hours sitting in the yard playing games together, such as Farkle and Horseshoes.  He also enjoyed fishing when the opportunity arose. 

Herbie is survived by his father, Herbert Thomas, Sr., his brother, Brian Thomas and wife, Leanne and his sister Karen Sewell and husband Courtland. 

He was preceded in death by his mother, Edna Maxine Thomas and his sister, Darlene Ackerman.
