Hurley R Moon

Hurley R. Moon, 76, of Wolfe City, Texas passed away October 30, 2018.  He was born in Myrtle Springs, Texas on June 30, 1942, the son of Waymon Jefferson Moon and Lavera Mae Eskue. 

Hurley worked in maintenance at Texas A&M University-Commerce from October 1988 until his retirement in February 2001. He was a Master Mason in the Bethel Lodge 134 in Ladonia, Texas.

He is survived by his loving wife, Brenda C. Moon; children, Randy Ray Moon, Leann Looney, Hurley Wayne Moon and Shelly Ray Moon; grandchildren, Karrie Moon, Jeremy Moon, Jennifer Moon, Amber Juarez, SSGT Hurley Wayne Moon, Jr., Ciera Dickey, Logan Looney and Kali Wooten; siblings, Jerry Moon, Brenda Wesson and Becky Littrell.

Hurley was preceded in death by his parents, Waymon Jefferson Moon and Lavera Mae Eskue; stepfather, Gerald Dean Simmons; siblings, Eddie Dean Simmons, Linda Tull and Shelia Curry.
