Myrtle Faye Boyer

Myrtle Faye Gentry Boyer was born May 23, 1932 in Van Alstyne, Texas. She joined her Lord and Savior
Christ Jesus, with family by her side, on August 22, 2018 in Sulphur Springs, Texas.

“Myrt” came to know Jesus when she was 22 years old and joined Orchard Hills Baptist Church where
she was still a member at her passing.

She is survived by her sisters, Christine Hix of Van Alstyne, Ruth Burleson of Kauffman, and Yvonna
Morrison of Gunter; four children Margaret Bays and husband, Don of Cumby, Kathleene Berry of
Josephine, David Boyer and wife, Lola of Nevada, and Gregory Boyer and wife, Shirley of Quinlan;
sixteen grandchildren, thirty- two great grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.

Myrt was preceded in death by her father, Clyde Golden Gentry, her mother, Millie Elizabeth Gentry and
her siblings, Lola Imagene, Mary Francis and Clyde Golden, Jr.
