Sue Ann Finley, 85, of Wolfe City, Texas passed away on Monday, September 25, 2017, in Wolfe City.  She was born on October 26, 1931 in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of George Kenneth Stiles and Mary Kathryn Foster Stiles. 

Growing up in Dayton, she graduated from Fairview High School.  She married the love of her life, Robert Finley on June 12, 1954 in Dayton, Ohio.  Sue was one who believed strongly in unconditional love.  She taught those around her about that kind of love by the way she extended it to those she loved, beginning with her own children.  She was very close to her friends, her children and grandchildren. 

Sue served for several years as the Republican County Chairwoman for Montgomery County, Ohio.  She was responsible for arranging large parties that would serve as major Republican Party fundraisers during national elections.  She was fortunate to get to meet Ronald Reagan as well as both George H. W. Bush and George W. Bush as she represented the party during their campaigns. 

Sue is survived by her daughters, Susan Goeke and husband, Paul and Kathleen Allison and husband, Jeffery; grandchildren, Lindsay Goeke, Matthew Goeke, Kenneth Sullivan and wife, Emily, Robert Sullivan, Suzanne Ribaudo and husband, James, Lauren, John, Joseph, Anna, Kelly, Jacob, Morgan, Megan and Jackson Allison; great grandchildren, Finley Sullivan, Laine Sullivan, Noah Sullivan and Remy Ribaudo.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, Robert, her parents, Kenneth and Kathryn Stiles and her brother, Douglas Stiles.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts be made in honor of Sue to the Alzheimer’s Association,
