Amy Leigh Luckett Manning, 72, of Commerce, Texas, passed away on October 25 , 2025 in her home. Her husband of 50 years, Randy Loy Manning, as well as her children were by her side. Amy was born on August 16, 1953, to Doyce Edward Luckett and Alice Maurine Mullins Luckett.

Visitation will take place Thursday, October 30, 2025 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Commerce Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Friday, October 31, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Rosemound Cemetery.

Amy grew up in Commerce, Texas. She graduated from Commerce High School with the class of 1971. It is there that she met the love of her life, Randy. They were married on August 22, 1975. She graduated from East Texas State University with a degree in teaching. She taught for a few years but spent the majority of her career as an administrative assistant at Texas A&M – Commerce in the Psychology and Special Education Department and the College of Education.

Amy is survived by her husband, Randy; daughter, Lacy and son-in-low Ronnie Witt of Emory, TX; daughter Lori Manning and partner Steve Perkins of Dallas, TX; grandsons, Daniel Cunningham, Caleb Witt and fiancé Jenna Roper, Colby Witt and Cohen Witt; sisters, Linda Liston, and Alicia (Greg) Hulsey; nephews, Jason (Valerie) Liston, Scott (Becca) Hulsey and Tyler Hulsey; and, niece Courtney (Grant) Gist.

She is preceded in death by her parents Doyce and Maurine Luckett, her father and mother-in-law D.L. and Shirley Manning, and brother-in-law, Jerry Liston.

Amy loved her faith, flowers, her daughters, and grandsons. She loved to work in the yard and decorate her home for all seasons, especially Christmas. She loved to spoil her grandsons, shopping trips with her sisters, and Hallmark Christmas movies with Randy.

In lieu of flowers the Manning family has requested donations be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network at pancan.org.
