Harold Wayne Collard

Harold Wayne Collard, age 85, of Commerce, Texas, was born on May 18, 1940 and passed away on May 20, 2025. He was born in Bonham, Texas to Jess Harold Collard and Louise Balentine Collard. Harold grew up in Honey Grove, Texas and moved to Klondike, Texas in 1955.  A graveside service is scheduled for Thursday, May 22, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at New Klondike Cemetery in Klondike, Texas.

Harold retired from Sprint Telephone after 38 years of service. He enjoyed his life of hunting, fishing, dealing with coins, and also selling lots of pecans from San Saba, Texas.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Glovon Rainey Collard, his two daughters Kerri Rabe and husband Billy Mark Rabe of Commerce, Texas, and Kim Phipps of Winnsboro, Texas. He is also survived by his grandchildren Cody West, Lauren West Harris and husband Kaelon, Tani Rabe, Hillary Phipps Wilson and husband Roy, and Colton Phipps. Harold is also survived by his great-grandchildren Rylee Wilson, Hayden Wilson, Dakotah Wilson, Aleigha Phipps, Axton Rabe, Kash Harris and Kali Harris. He is survived by siblings Carolyn McCarrell, Jo Ann Atterberry and husband Danny, Randy Collard and wife Charlie, all of Cooper, Texas.

Preceding Harold in death are his parents, Jess and Louise Collard and his sisters Anetha Burden and Linda Wyrick.

Serving as Honorary Pallbearers are: Billy Mark Rabe, Cody West, Colton Phipps, Roy Wilson, Hayden Wilson, Danny Atterberry, Charlie Adams, Bill Burden, and Bobby Boles.
