Rollie Alonza "Skip" Weatherford Jr

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rollie Alonzo "Skip" Weatherford Jr., who peacefully left this world on Sunday, January 26th, at his home surrounded by his family.  

Skip was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Omogene Hill and Ray Weatherford.  He is survived by his devoted wife of 54 years, Shirley Weatherford; his daughter, Joy Michelle Howard (Mandel); his son, John Ray Weatherford (Gwen); and his cherished grandsons, Cameron Howard (Makayla), Mason Howard (Krystal), and John Weatherford II, and great granddaughter Hattie Elisia.  

Skip's love for his family, his quiet strength, and his kind spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.  

A celebration of his life is planned for Friday, January 31st at Commerce Funeral Home in Commerce, TX from 5:00 - 7:00 pm.  In this time of sorrow, we ask that you keep his family in your thoughts and prayers.
