Sarah Lindsey Hibbard

Sarah Hibbard passed from this earth on June 14, 2025. She was born on May 21, 1956. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Sonora Cemetery in Fairlie.

She graduated from Commerce High School and went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising from East Texas State University (now A & M).

Sarah had an innate creative sense which showed in her home decorating skills. She made a beautiful home in Tyler, Texas for she and her husband Wayne, who survives her. She was much loved and appreciated for her sense of humor and generosity to her family and others.

Sarah is also survived by her sister-in-law Sylvia and husband, Phil Bird of Allen, Texas and nieces Kimberly and Mark Perkinson of Lewisville, Texas and Karen and husband, Matthew Crawford of Allen, Texas. In addition, she is survived by her cousins, Steve Scroggin of Commerce, Texas, Franklin King of Jacksonville, Alabama, Jan Davis and husband, Ronnie, of Mabank, Texas, Julie Scroggin of Rowlett, Texas and Jessica LeBeau and husband, James, of Rowlett, Texas.

Sarah loved her pets, Maggie, Katie and Fergie who sustained her every day. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Pets Fur People, 1823 County Road 386, Tyler, TX 75708.
