Carolyn Jean Bearden, 65, of Commerce, Texas, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, August 22, 2021. She was born on October 10, 1955, in Commerce, Texas to Henry Cleborn Cupit and Billie Margaret Matkins Cupit
Carolyn attended Cumby High School. On June 30, 1973, she married the love of her life, Kenneth Bearden, in Brashear, Texas. Carolyn was blessed to stay home for many years raising her children in the family home. She loved being involved with all of their school activities, especially the sporting events where she cheered loudly in the stands. After raising children, she began working at Nissan of Greenville. She loved her co-workers and her work. She enjoyed gardening and trips with family and friends and had recently taken a mother- daughter trip to Cabo.
Carolyn was a faithful follower of Jesus and loved spending time in His Word. Her love for Him radiated and she shined a bright light everywhere she went. Her contagious smile and laughter will be greatly missed.
Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Robin Nabers and husband, Justin, of Commerce, Wendi Humphries and husband, Charles, of Cumby, and son, Brine Bearden and wife, Becky, of Cumby; grandchildren, Taylor Kenney and husband, Adam of Cumby, Landon and Hannah Nabers, Grayson Humphries, and Tyler, Lizzie, and Blake Bearden; great grandchildren, Alexis and Hadlee Kenney and Wyatt Nabers; her brother, Michael Cupit and wife, Michelle; nieces, Michaela and Mikenna Cupit and a nephew, Shon Potter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Bearden, parents, Cleborn and Billie Cupit and her sister, Cathy Cummings.
Serving as pallbearers for Carolyn are Landon Nabers, Tyler Crumpton, Steven Smith, Johnny Petty, Russell Caldwell, and Dale Crumpton.
