Crystal (Talley) Cain

Crystal Cain, of Commerce, passed away unexpectedly on March 1, 2021.  Crystal was born on February 17, 1962, the daughter of Kevin and Gloria Rose. 

Crystal attended East Texas State University, graduating in 1992.  She was a teacher for 20 years, teaching Head Start, PreK, and Kindergarten.   She was able to impact the lives of her children in a multitude of ways, and her reward was seeing them learn, achieve goals and excel.  She taught with creativity and passion, leaving no doubt that she had found her calling.

When Crystal wasn’t in the classroom, on field trips, or monitoring the lunch line, she enjoyed expressing her creative side through a variety of arts and crafts.  She was also active in her church, New Life Congregational Methodist.

Left to cherish many memories are Crystal’s daughter, Elizabeth Striplin; her parents, Kevin and Gloria Rose; 2 brothers, Mike Talley and Dale Rose; a sister, Leigh Davidson; 3 nieces, Jaedin Talley, Bree Talley and Rosaleigh Davidson; and 3 nephews, Wyatt Davidson, Wylie Davidson, and Kaden Rose.

She was loved by all who knew her and her absence will be felt by many.
