Frances Lorene (Klas) Anderson

Frances (Frankie) Lorene Klas Anderson was born March 21, 1921 in Southmayd, Texas to Henry and Laura (Saunders) Klas. On November 10, 2022, Frankie, 101, peacefully rejoined her husband James Lowell Anderson, daughter Jimmie Boyd, son-in law Jackie and grandson Jon, including her parents and siblings Alvin, John, Buster, Bill Klas, Evelyn Gray, Mae Ruyle and Betty Saunier.

She welcomed life in the same way she left with many speaking of her sweet caring loving way. She leaves many to carry on her compassionate heart, daughter Sandra Bennett and husband Doug, Son Richard Anderson and wife Jim Ann, grandchildren Tyler Bennett and wife Rhonda, Pua Ali’i K. Lum, Vicki Davis and husband Rick, Andy Anderson and wife Sandra, Angela Cochran and husband Rodgers, eight great grandchildren and spouses, five great great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends who have loving memories of her.

Many of us joined her penchant for volunteering to make our communities a kind loving place. In her youth, she enjoyed singing, rollerskating and was a basketball and volleyball player, an exceptional Beautician for 60+ years, a Silver Life Master bridge player and an avid league bowler. She enjoyed fishing, cooking and laughing with anyone she met. She taught us to be kind, gentle and caring. How do you sum up the life of a centurion? Smiling comes to mind which is only the beginning of the many blessings she bestowed while living a full precious life. We all love her, will be grieving her and honoring her in our own ways.

We want to especially thank the staff at Rock Creek and Cypress Basin Hospice for their devotion to her long-term care. They treated her as a precious gift, so that we knew she was in good hands.
