Leland Bradley “Preacher” Fouse, 61, of Commerce, passed away from injuries sustained in an accident on Saturday, April 3, 2021. He was born on October 6, 1959 in Leonard, Texas, the son of L.B. Fouse and Edna Earl Luttrell Fouse.
Leland attended high school in Ladonia. He is described by those who knew him best as a free spirit. He never met a stranger, earning the additional label of social butterfly! He collected friends like some collect rocks! Leland enjoyed doing anything he could do outdoors. He spent much of his free time simply riding the back roads, enjoying the feeling of freedom that brings. He would always have his special canine companion, Bo-jangles, more commonly known simply as Bo, with him every time he made these journeys. It would not be out of character to find Leland up in a tree somewhere communing with God and enjoying His creation. He would be inspired by these times to preach the Word of God any time he had the opportunity. Among his other skills are electronics repair, medicine, studying to further his knowledge and teaching. He gave so much and took nothing. He was a great man who will be more than missed!
