Michael Cooper Obituary

Michael Wayne Cooper, 71, of Denison, passed away after a lengthy illness, on January 17, 2022. He was born on April 17, 1950, in Greenville, Texas, the son of George Winifred Cooper and Bonita Virginia (Shipp) Cooper.

Mike spent his career as one of the best body shop repair technicians in the area. He worked for Danny Langford in Greenville for many years. When he was not working, he was an avid fisherman.

Left to cherish Mike’s memory are his children, Cass Cooper and his wife, Jody, Kris Jacobson and her husband, Max, and Chase Cooper and his wife, Jeffa, all who reside in Hamilton, Montana; fourteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren; his brother, Jerry Cooper and wife, Linda, of Texas City, Texas; his sister, Charlene Kiker of Marshall, and his sister Kathy Burton and husband, Johnny, of Commerce, Texas, and a beautiful companion, Peggy Spencer, of Bonham, Texas.  Mike also left behind numerous beloved nieces and nephews.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, George and Bonita Cooper, and a brother-in-law, Paul Kiker.
