Scott Edward Cahill

Scott Edward James Cahill died in a car accident on March 17, 2023.  Interment will take place on Monday, April 3, 2023 at 1:00 pm at DFW National Cemetery with full military honors.

Scott is survived by his wife, Cyndee, who loved and adored him, his children, Emily Cahill and wife Kasidy, Benjamin Cahill, Abigail Cahill, Bailee Cole, Blaise Cole, Benn Cole and Bella Katherine Cole; his mother, Joan Cahill, and siblings Cathy Cahill and Sean Cahill. He is preceded in death by his father, Ken Cahill. 

Scott was born in Maine but he would say that he got to Texas as fast as he could. He served more than twenty years in the United States Air Force as a crew chief before his retirement. At the time of his death, Scott was employed by L3 Harris as a Senior Systems Engineer.  But, if you asked him what his job was, he would tell you that taking care of Cyndee was his most important job. Scott loved his animals, his wife and his Harley – not necessarily in that order.  He was a fixer of all things broken. Scott loved Sundays on the couch with Cyndee and his pups watching car shows and taking naps. He loved to grill, he loved Christmas and he loved the life he made with Cyndee on the farm.  He will be forever loved and missed.
