Everett “Sonny” Coffman, 80, of Farmer’s Branch, Texas died Sunday, December 13, 2015, in Dallas, Texas.  Sonny was born in Cumby, Texas on February 9, 1935, the son of Ernest Coffman and Gertrude Marler Coffman.  The family will receive friends at a Visitation to take place on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Commerce Funeral Home.  The funeral will immediately follow at 2:00 pm at the funeral home with Reverend Randell Turner officiating.  Burial will be at Emblem Cemetery in Emblem, Texas.

Sonny is survived by his wife, Inell; sons, Mike Coffman and wife, Cheryl, Donnie Coffman and wife, Terrie and Will Coffman and wife, Teresa;  step daughters Lisa Robinson and Laura Plascencia; granddaughter, Evelyn Coffman; 14 step grandchildren; 5 great step grandchildren; and his sister, Sandy Fraley and husband, Larry.

Sonny was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Gertrude Coffman; daughter, Diana Austin and his sister, Anna Hanneman.

Serving as pallbearers for Sonny will be Donnie Coffman, Willie Coffman, John Plascencia, Nickie Robinson, Devon Robinson and Sidney Pemberton.
