Lillie Estalene Bowman, age 80, of Commerce, Texas, went to be with the Lord on June 19, 2017.  She was born on September 27, 1936 to Jess and Veda Broughton.  Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Commerce Funeral Home, with a funeral service immediately following at 3:30 p.m.

Estalene worked hard all of her life.  When she wasn’t cheering for the Dallas Cowboys or the Texas Rangers, she enjoyed spending time with her family, fishing, and just life itself!  She lived out her faith as a Pentecostal and touched many people. 

Estalene is survived by two daughters, Brenda McFarlin and husband, Jimbo, of Commerce; Donna Bowen and husband, Harold of Gladewater; sister, Charcenell Elliott of Gladewater; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren;  and many, many friends and loved ones. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Don Bowman; son, Bub Bowman; daughter, Rebecca Evans; father, Jess Broughton; mother, Veda Broughton; and brothers,  Bobby, Wayne, and Kenneth Broughton.

She was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her.  May she rest in peace.
