Donald Keith Funk, 73, of Klondike, Texas passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2015 in Plano, Texas.  He was born on June 16, 1942 in Edam, West Virginia, the son of Alston Funk and Elizabeth Hebb Funk.  A graveside service will take place on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Shiloh Cemetery. 

Donald served in the United States Air Force, retiring in 1981, after 21 years of service.  After his military service, he worked with the United States Postal Service.  After retirement, he enjoyed tending to his 21 acres and caring for the cattle he kept on the land.  He was never without something to do.  He also enjoyed spending time with his family. 

Donald is survived by his wife of 50 years, Donna Gwen; two sons, Donald Keith Funk, Jr. and Christopher Wayne Funk; a daughter, Samantha Leah Funk; and two granddaughters, Ashleah Rose Funk and Breanna Noel Funk. 

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Alston and Elizabeth Funk, a brother, Alston Funk, Jr. and a sister Nancy Funk.
