I am deeply saddened at the loss of such a kind, funny, and precious young man. I grew to know, care for, and love Gunnar from his very first days on campus. We spent many hours visiting about his life, career path, aspirations, fears, hopes, and dreams. I was honored that he trusted me and allowed me into his world. My heart goes out to Gunnar's family and close friends. I had the pleasure of helping teach him during the Theatre Collaborative a couple of years ago. He always displayed such warmth and gratitude to everybody and was enthusiastic about learning and growing as an artist and human being.

This certainly caught me by surprize......My deepest sympathy & prayers go out to Sherry & Grace & all of Gunnars friends as well. It is things like this which cause us not to understand....but the LORD knows. HIS ways & thoughts are so much higher than ours. Dear Sweet Gunnar, never will you be forgotten.
