A grand woman who was such an inspiration in my life. She encourage me to get my Masters and guided me to have it published. She always encourage me in many ways. After teaching English and being a coach for a few years I went to Law School at age 39 and now I am an elected State District Judge. She was certainly one of the women in my life to help me get where I am today. Thank you Dorothy Ingram. May you forever rest in peace

Dr Ingram,
We will always keep you in our thoughts and prayers as we recall your dedication to our beautiful daughter, Sabrina, who you helped rescue by paving the way for services thru Scottish Rite Hospital. Since that time, your endeavors paid off...she walks, sometimes talks, but is a constant reminder that a village truly raises our special children. God bless your memory as you blessed us!

As an alum of TAMU-C (Class of 1970), I was among many students on campus in the late sixties and early seventies that knew Dr. Ingram and her fabled reputation as a dedicated academician, scholar and passionate educator to her student's providing them with meaningful insight that positively influenced them throughout their lives.
Dr. Ingram provided her student's with purpose and direction thus establishing the foundations for lifelong learning and the pursuit of personal excellence that forms the essence of true educational engagement. She was a historical asset to the University, her profession and the myriad students' with whom she helped shape into confident, capable and contributing members of American society.
